Internet Protocol Virtual Private Networks (IP-VPN) are gaining prominence as replacement solutions to dedicated data networks, such as Frame Relay (FR), Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) and Digital Leased Lines (DLL). There are an increasing number of enterprises that have found an IP VPN solution to be a better fit for their organization than the legacy data technologies previously implemented. Enterprises considering such alternative should become familiar with the various technologies and
configuration options inherent with an IP VPN solution.
For an organization looking to provide a secured network infrastructure for its client, a VPN offers two main advantages over alternative technologies: cost savings, and network scalability.
A VPN can save an organization's money in several situations:
o Eliminating the need for expensive long-distance leased lines
o Reducing long-distance telephone charges
o Offloading support costs

Emerging technologies and the Internet are driving new business and communication opportunities at a rapid pace. Your network infrastructure, both Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN), is the foundation enabling these opportunities for your business. Whether you are integrating new technology with legacy systems, upgrading hardware and software (routers, switches, servers, etc.), performing bandwidth optimization or prioritizing network traffic, the challenge remains the same: balancing high performance and availability with reasonable costs.
ABA provides the expertise, experience, and industry partnerships to help you match your needs to the right technology solutions. We design and deploy new LAN and WAN infrastructures that bring your business computing needs alive and meet your budget.
Local and Wide Area Network services include:
- Network Wellness Assessment
- Network traffic analysis and bandwidth optimization
- Remote office connectivity design and implementation
- Router and switch design, configuration and implementation
- Integrating new technologies with legacy systems
- Network management tools and procedures
- Converged technologies for Voice, Data and Video
- Fibre to the home Network Solutions

We provide PAN Solution to our customers as well.
A PAN(Personal Area Network) is a computer network used for communication among computer devices (including telephones and personal digital assistants) close to one person. The devices may or may not belong to the person in question. The reach of a PAN is typically a few meters. PANs can be used for communication among the personal devices themselves (intrapersonal communication), or for connecting to a higher level network and the Internet (an uplink).
Personal area networks may be wired with computer buses such as USB and FireWire. A wireless personal area network (WPAN) can also be made possible with network technologies such as IrDA, Bluetooth, UWB, and ZigBee. |

Since wireless sensor networks often are deployed in regions that are difficult to access, the nodes should not require maintenance. They must be energetically autonomous, using batteries that do not need to be replaced or recharged. In many application scenarios, the targeted node lifetime typically ranges from two to five years, imposing drastic constraints

The Virtual Private Network (VPN) represents secure connectivity for enterprises. It is "virtual" because multiple VPNs co-exist on the same network facilities, yielding economies of scale and lowering costs. It is "private" because only the designated enterprise site can receive and view the data that is being transmitted. It is a "network" in that it connects multiple locations and users of an enterprise community to one another -- securely and economically. |
